1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ScorBoo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

2. Description of Service

ScorBoo is a mobile board game score tracking application. It allows you to record game scores, track statistics, manage friends, and share results. The service is provided "as is" by an independent developer.

3. Accounts

You must sign in with a Google account, Apple account, or email to use ScorBoo. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must choose a username that does not impersonate others or contain offensive content. We reserve the right to remove usernames that violate these guidelines.

4. User Conduct

When using ScorBoo, you agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems

5. Content & Data

You retain ownership of the data you create in ScorBoo (game scores, custom game definitions, display names). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this data to provide the service. Game session data is shared with other participants in those sessions.

6. In-App Purchases

ScorBoo offers an optional one-time ScorBooz purchase (5 CHF) that unlocks unlimited game sessions forever. Your first 25 sessions are completely free. Purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective refund policies.

7. Termination

You may stop using ScorBoo and delete your account at any time from the app's Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your personal data will be anonymized as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

ScorBoo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScorBoo and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of ScorBoo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
